Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah has said the handling of the alleged corruption case surrounding the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme is currently in the case-file preparation stage.

“The one at the BGN — the case-file preparation process is currently under way. That remains the focus in order to complete it quickly; the instruction given to me is the priority,” Febrie said at the Jampidsus building of the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) in Jakarta on Friday.

He also revealed that the list of 41 names allegedly involved in soliciting allocation quotas for Nutrition Service Fulfilment Units (SPPG) has now grown to 47 names.

However, the involvement of those named still needs to be investigated and proven.

“We will see how it develops, but we also want the BGN to run well, and this is something we continue to communicate with our colleagues now steering the MBG,” he said.

This came to light during the questioning of Sony Sonjaya as a suspect in the alleged corruption case surrounding the governance of the MBG programme for 2025-2026.

He said the dozens of names came from political circles, but declined to elaborate.

To date, seven people have been named suspects in the MBG governance corruption case: former Head of the BGN Dadan Hindayana; former Deputy Head of the BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung; former Deputy Head of the BGN for Nutrition Fulfilment Operations Sony Sonjaya; Asep Yusuf Soemantri, a private party; Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Andri Mulyono; Glory Harimas Sihombing, a private party; and LMI, Secretary of the Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation at the BGN.
