The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), Febrie Adriansyah, has spoken out regarding searches conducted by the Indonesian National Police (Polri) related to three alleged corruption cases. Febrie stated he wished to issue a statement due to the widespread circulation of information.

“As we know, there is a great deal of news and information circulating regarding law enforcement by Polri,” Febrie said during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office building on Friday (10/7/2026). He noted that the circulating information concerns the Attorney General’s Office and its officials. He assured that the duties of personnel under Jampidsus continue to operate normally.

“We ensure that all activities and tasks assigned to us and our colleagues at the Round Building, who are conducting investigations, inquiries, prosecutions, and field duties in executing evidence, continue to run,” he stated. He added that the office is currently focused on handling several cases concerning the fate of the nation and supporting the programmes of President Prabowo Subianto. These include safeguarding natural resources, such as mining governance, and the management of the free nutritious meals programme.

“Jampidsus will respect every law enforcement action carried out by law enforcement officers in accordance with applicable procedural law,” he said. He described the dynamics of law enforcement as a normal occurrence and affirmed the institution’s commitment to carrying out its duties and authority professionally.

Febrie outlined six key points:

  1. He confirmed that all investigative, prosecutorial, and field duties at the Round Building are proceeding according to standard operating procedures. The office is focused on handling cases of national interest and public welfare, as well as supporting national priority programmes directed by the President. These include efforts to improve mining governance for the maximum benefit of the state, complex transfer pricing cases requiring significant investigative resources, and the governance of the free nutritious meals programme (MBG).

  2. These efforts are part of the institution’s commitment to realising a clean government with integrity and providing a deterrent effect against corruption. Public support and trust are vital for effective, independent, and sustainable law enforcement.

  3. The Attorney General’s Office, particularly Jampidsus, will continue to respect every law enforcement process conducted by other authorised agencies in accordance with applicable procedural law.

  4. The office understands that law enforcement dynamics can attract public attention. It therefore urges the public to respond to information wisely and based on complete facts to gain a correct understanding.

  5. Beyond criminal enforcement, other duties include the PKH Task Force, which continues to optimise state revenue through administrative fines. Companies failing to pay administrative fines as required by law have been pursued through criminal instruments to ensure obligations to the state are met for the maximum benefit of the public.

  6. The Attorney General’s Office will continue to support and ensure the success of various strategic national priority programmes, including the free nutritious meals initiative and the Merah Putih Village Cooperative programme, so they run effectively, accountably, and deliver tangible benefits to the community. Ultimately, the office remains committed to carrying out its duties and authority professionally, independently, and responsibly, while inviting the public to maintain a healthy law enforcement climate and allow legal processes to proceed according to statutory mechanisms.
