The Attorney General’s Office cannot yet determine the future allocation of the electric motorcycles from the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme implicated in a corruption case at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) has confirmed that all 20,801 electric motorcycle units have been sealed, but their ultimate use remains a decision for the BGN.

Director of Investigations at Jampidsus, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that the sealing of the electric motorcycles does not constitute a seizure. He explained it was purely a security measure, carried out because investigators needed to conduct a complete count of all units.

“Perhaps today the sealing will be fully completed. But we are not seizing them. We are still waiting for the BGN regarding their use,” Syarief said via text message on Monday.

Jampidsus investigators carried out the sealing at two locations: the EMMO Electric Mobility warehouse in the Sentul industrial area, Bogor, West Java, and the EMMO Electric Mobility production and assembly unit in Cikarang, West Java. Syarief previously explained that these two locations are the main centres for the production and storage of the EMMO electric motorcycles, specifically the JVH Scooter and JVX Trail models.
