Jamkrindo Marks 56th Anniversary with Blood Donation Drive
PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) organised a blood donation drive to mark the company’s 56th anniversary. Carrying the theme ‘Ayo Donor, Sehatkan Diri, Selamatkan Sesama’ (Come Donate, Heal Yourself, Save Others), the event was held in cooperation with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) at Jamkrindo’s Head Office in Jakarta on Tuesday (23/6).
The blood donation activity was attended by directors, commissioners, and Jamkrindo employees as a form of care for others while helping to meet the national blood supply needs. Jamkrindo Corporate Secretary Akhmad Albaasithu stated that the blood donation drive is a routine social agenda held annually.
‘We hope that this activity can be a meaningful contribution in helping others, as well as being part of the spirit of Jamkrindo’s 56th anniversary to continue providing broader benefits to the community,’ Akhmad said, as quoted from a press release received on Tuesday (23/6).
In addition to the blood donation drive, Jamkrindo also carries out various social activities focused on the education, social, and humanitarian sectors. These include the Pustaka Lestari Programme for 5,600 Indonesian children, the Pelosok Mengajar (Teaching in Remote Areas) Programme, appreciation for the dedication of remote teachers, the Family Mental Health Education Sustainability Programme for parents/guardians of primary school students, the Quality Teacher Education for Smart Indonesian Children programme, and the launch of the PELITA Mobile Empathy, Literacy and Child Development Service vehicle.
‘This series of activities is part of Jamkrindo’s efforts to expand the benefits of the company’s presence for the community, not only through business services but also through various sustainable social programmes,’ Akhmad added.
