Jambi Police Force Distributes Ramadan Breaking-of-Fast Packages
To celebrate the sacred month of Ramadan 1447 H, the Jambi Police Force on Monday afternoon (9 March) distributed hundreds of Ramadan breaking-of-fast packages to members of the public passing by the Jambi Police Headquarters. The initiative, organised by the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) and the Public Relations division, was met with enthusiastic reception from residents.
The distribution of free food and beverage packages for breaking the fast was led directly by the Director of Special Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Taufik Nurmandia, and the Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Erlan Munaji.
According to Head of Public Relations Erlan Munaji, the free takjil distribution represented the Indonesian National Police’s commitment, particularly Jambi Police, towards communities observing the Ramadan fast. “This sharing initiative simultaneously aims to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community. We conduct this regularly throughout Ramadan, rotating involvement across all units of Jambi Police,” Erlan explained.
Erlan hoped that the initiative, which began at the start of Ramadan, would foster a spirit of togetherness and increase public confidence in the police force, which continually strives to be present among the community.
