JAMBI: Some 11 kiosks in Pasar Baru market in South Jambi
subdistrict caught fire on Wednesday night. No casualties were
reported.

"The fire spread quickly from behind the kiosks," said Ahmad,
a trader and eyewitness.

Some kiosk owners managed to save their merchandise, but most
failed to do so. The fire, which was reportedly start in one of
the kiosks, was extinguished soon after two fire trucks arrived
at the scene. -- JP
