Jalan Gejayan Sleman to Partially Close from 13 July, Traffic Diversions Announced
Periodic maintenance on Jalan Affandi, also known as Gejayan, up to Demangan will commence on 13 July. The Sleman Police Traffic Unit will implement traffic diversions during the works. According to the official Instagram account of the Sleman Police Traffic Unit, the maintenance will last for 20 days, beginning on Monday, 13 July 2026, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. The work will be accelerated during night-time hours to minimise congestion during the day. Consequently, the Traffic Unit will enforce a full closure of the east side lane. Vehicles from both directions will use a contraflow system on the west side lane. Flagmen will be stationed on site to help direct motorists. Road users are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed when passing the project area, and obey traffic signs and directions from officers. Motorists are also advised to use alternative routes where possible to ensure smoother journeys.
