Jakpus City Government Ensures Normal Public Services
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Central Administration (Pemkot Jakpus) has assured that all services to the public are running normally and optimally, with no accumulation of work after the Eid al-Fitr holiday. “As the showcase of governance, Central Jakarta demands that we work quickly, accurately, and professionally, leaving no room for delays or postponements,” said Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin in Jakarta on Thursday. He also stated that he has instructed his subordinates to ensure all public services operate normally and optimally. In addition, he demanded that all civil servants (ASN) provide fast, accurate, and humane services to the public, and immediately return to the normal work rhythm without exception. “Demonstrate discipline, responsibility, and real performance from the first day,” Arifin said. Besides public services, he also asked all his subordinates to accelerate waste handling and ensure the environmental conditions quickly return to being clean and orderly. All of this, Arifin said, is done so that the people of Jakarta feel comfortable in a clean and neat environment. Therefore, he asked that there be no accumulation of rubbish, either in residential areas or at crowded points. “The sub-district heads, PPSU (Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling) officers, and the Environmental Office must ensure there is no rubbish accumulation post-Eid,” Arifin revealed.
