Information was conveyed via a post on the Instagram account of the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub). The announcement stated that the odd-even traffic system would not apply on Wednesday, 27 May, and Thursday, 28 May 2026.

“In relation to the holiday and accompanying leave for Eid al-Adha 1447 H on 27-28 May 2026, the implementation of the odd-even traffic system across various Jakarta road segments is suspended,” according to Dishub DKI Jakarta, Friday, 22 May 2026.

Dishub explained that the suspension refers to the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) on National Holidays and Collective Leave for 2026. Additionally, the rule also references Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88 of 2019, Article 3(3).

The regulation states that traffic restrictions under the odd-even system are not applied on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays designated by government decisions. Although the odd-even policy is temporarily suspended, the public are advised to obey traffic signs and prioritise safety while driving.
