Jakarta's odd-even traffic rule suspended today, resumes tomorrow

The Jakarta Provincial Government has suspended the odd-even traffic rule on Monday, 1 June 2026, coinciding with Pancasila Day, a national holiday. The decision was announced via the official Instagram account of the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub DKI Jakarta). ‘The implementation of the odd-even system on various roads in Jakarta is suspended due to Pancasila Day,’ stated Dishub DKI Jakarta. The policy is based on Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88 of 2019, which exempts weekends and government-declared national holidays from the rule. Although suspended today, the odd-even system will resume from Tuesday, 2 June to Friday, 5 June 2026. The rule operates in two sessions: 6:00–10:00 and 16:00–21:00 WIB.
