Jakarta's Odd-Even Traffic Rule Shelved During Idul Adha Holiday, Take Note of the Timings
Jakarta, Kompas.com – The vehicle restrictions under the odd–even system in Jakarta do not apply on Wednesday 27 May 2026 and Thursday 28 May 2026. According to the Jakarta Department of Transportation (Dishub), the policy has been suspended in conjunction with the national holiday commemorating Hari Raya Idul Adha 1447 H. As a result, all four-wheel and larger vehicles may freely travel on roads normally encompassed by the odd–even scheme, with no restrictions based on odd- or even-numbered plates.
Although the odd–even scheme is suspended, road users are urged to maintain traffic order and obey the signs and regulations in force. This is important to avoid potential congestion, particularly on several major roads that are expected to remain busy during the national holiday.
