Jakarta's Odd-Even Scheme Limited to 4 Days This Week: Check the Schedule

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Jakarta’s odd-even scheme will only apply for four days this week, from Monday (30 March 2026) to Thursday (2 April 2026). The traffic restriction will not be in place on Friday (3 April 2026), as it coincides with the national holiday marking the Death of Jesus Christ. This provision refers to Article 3 paragraph (3) of Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88 of 2019, which states that the odd-even system is not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays designated by presidential decree. The implementation of the odd-even scheme in DKI Jakarta remains divided into two time sessions, namely from 06:00–10:00 WIB in the morning and 16:00–21:00 WIB in the afternoon to evening. Based on Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation, Article 287, violators may be fined up to Rp500,000.
