Jakarta's Five-Star Hotel Wins Business Services and MICE Award in China

The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place has been named the best hotel for business services and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) at the TTG China Travel Awards 2026. This award encompasses a list of hotels, apartments, airports, and airlines in China and on an international scale. “For The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, this international recognition reflects our meticulousness, personal touch, and thoughtful design,” said General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta Pacific Place, Sumit Joshi, in an official statement on Thursday (9/4/2026). The award for the China and Asia-Pacific region was held at the Thompson Shanghai Expo, China, on Wednesday (25/3/2026). The TTG China Travel Awards 2026 honoured 53 of the best travel and tourism service providers. Selection was conducted through a voting process involving travel consultants, tour operators, and destination management companies from around the world. As a business hotel in Jakarta, said Joshi, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place is accustomed to hosting large events tailored to clients’ needs. These events range from meetings, large conventions, weddings, major exhibitions, music concerts, to social celebrations attended by thousands of people. The Grand Ballroom serves as the business and MICE space at The Ritz-Carlton, with an area of 3,284 square metres and a height of nine metres. This ballroom can accommodate up to 8,000 guests. Meanwhile, the restaurant with city views provides an elegant atmosphere for dinner and social events. “Every event feels special because of the people behind it. From the concierge to the experienced chefs, every detail is handled with care and attention,” said Joshi.
