Jakarta's Blue Sky During Eid Holiday

Jakarta is deserted during the Eid holiday period. The sky over Jakarta appears remarkably blue due to improved air quality. Observations in the Jakarta area on Friday (20/3/2026) show the sky looking very blue. The weather appears clear. In addition to the very blue sky, there are also white clouds. The air feels fresh without pollution. Referring to the AQAir website indicator, today’s air quality index (AQI) value for Jakarta is 75. This figure of 75 indicates moderate air quality. In addition, Jakarta’s air pollution today is PM2.5, with humidity at 75%. Meanwhile, the BMKG predicts that the weather in several areas of Jakarta today will be cloudy to light rain. Empty Roads The roads in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, also look empty today. Cars and motorbikes are moving at normal speeds without obstacles. The quiet atmosphere is also evident at KRL stations such as Kebayoran Station. Meanwhile, TransJakarta stops, namely Velbak and Tegal Mampang, also appear deserted.
