Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (Wamen ATR/Waka BPN) Ossy Dermawan stated that land certification coverage in DKI Jakarta Province has reached 98.6 per cent of existing land parcels, making it one of the best achievements in Indonesia.

“This achievement is a success for the Governor and his staff in organising land administration governance in DKI Jakarta Province,” Ossy said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to Wamen Ossy, the 98.6 per cent certification coverage must continue to be improved until all land parcels in DKI Jakarta are registered and certified. To realise this, the Ministry of ATR/BPN will strengthen synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, both in accelerating land certification and improving the quality of land services to the public.

“A total of 98.6 per cent of land parcels in DKI Jakarta have been registered. This can serve as a very good example for other regions throughout Indonesia,” the Deputy Minister said in an official statement.

Strengthening synergy between the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is being carried out, among other ways, through the integration of land, population, and tax data. Wamen Ossy said that synchronising the Land Parcel Identification Number (NIB), Population Identification Number (NIK), and Tax Object Number (NOP) is a strategic step to realise a more integrated, accurate, and accountable government administration system, while supporting the optimisation of public services and increasing regional revenue.

“We continue to develop the integration of land data with population and tax data. This is important to realise clean, transparent, and accountable governance,” he said.

On the occasion, Wamen Ossy, representing Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Nusron Wahid, handed over 499 Right of Use certificates on behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, with a total area of approximately 85 hectares. The certificates were received directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung Wibowo.
