The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will hold a series of peak events for Jakarta’s 499th Anniversary on 27-28 June 2026. Various activities have been prepared at a number of locations across Jakarta, with the centre of the celebration located in the Bundaran HI area.

According to a press release from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, this series of events marks the conclusion of this year’s Jakarta Anniversary celebrations. The public can enjoy music concerts, cultural performances, exhibitions, festivals, and sporting activities.

On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the agenda includes the ‘Tatah’ Jepara Carving Art Exhibition at the National Museum of Indonesia, the ‘Menjaga Warisan untuk Masa Depan’ Wastra Exhibition at the Textile Museum, and the Indonesia Woman Artist #4 On The Map exhibition at the National Gallery. Additional events include a Pravin Band concert at M Bloc Space, the National Keris Exhibition at Museum Pusaka TMII, the Festival Jakarta Great Sale across 104 malls, Jakarta Fair at JIExpo Kemayoran, TIM Book Fest 2026 at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakalcer ‘Seamphony of The Art’ at Pasar Seni Ancol, Kumpul Bocah at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Coma Fest at GBK East Parking Plaza, the Jakarta Rowing Festival at Banjir Kanal Timur, the International Islamic Expo 2026 and The 10th Edition Mommy and Me 2026 at JCC, a solo exhibition by Imes Paskalia, Kard 2026 World Tour at Basket Hall GBK, Ancol Sunset Sound at Pantai Festival Ancol, JIS ANIMEXPO at Jakarta International Stadium, the Indonesia ITF World Tour Junior J60 Jakarta at GBK Tennis Court, Jersey Boys The Musical at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Localfest at GBK Baseball Field, Festival Kreasi Nusantara at Museum Mandiri, Sanggar Kencana Budaya at Batavia PIK, and Miro Bunkasai at Sunset Pier PIK.

On Sunday, 28 June 2026, the programme continues with the second edition of Jakarta Penuh Warna at Bundaran HI from 06.00 to 10.00 WIB, featuring a balloon parade, marching band, Nusantara mass dance, a collaboration between Gambang Kromong and ballet, urban theatre, and a waste sorting action. A Ruwatan Akbar will be held at Museum Indonesia, TMII. Many exhibitions from the previous day continue, including the Jepara carving, Wastra, and fine arts exhibitions.
