Jakarta's 499th anniversary mass circumcision breaks MURI record

A free mass circumcision programme, held as a corporate social responsibility initiative by PAM Jaya in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Family Welfare and Empowerment (PKK) mobilisation team, has successfully broken a MURI record by circumcising more than two thousand children. In preparation for Jakarta’s five-hundredth anniversary next year, Governor Pramono Anung announced on Wednesday (8/7) a target to increase the quota to five thousand children and outlined plans to prepare various other free service programmes for the public.
