In commemoration of Jakarta’s 499th Anniversary, Cibis Park presented the Gelaran Musik Jakarta 2026. This event became a unique artistic celebration by combining the harmony of modern jazz music with traditional Betawi songs as a form of respect for Jakarta’s cultural identity. Held on Monday, 22 June 2026, the activity represented Cibis Park’s commitment to supporting Jakarta as a humanist, creative, and cultured city. The event also served as an inspirational interaction space for the urban community amidst continuously evolving times.

The event was officially opened by the President Director of PT Bhumyamca Sekawan (Cibis Park), Achmad Umar, through a drumming ceremony. Located in The Terrace area of Cibis Park, the performance took place from 17.00 to 20.00 WIB, providing a warm outdoor atmosphere for workers and tenants within the environment.

Carrying the spirit of Jakarta Towards 5 Centuries, the performance involved a line-up of renowned musicians and jazz communities with an emotional connection to the capital. Achmad Umar stated that Cibis Park aims to be part of Jakarta’s historical journey by providing a space that supports not only business but also humanitarian and artistic values. “Jakarta is a city that grows from cultural diversity. Through Gelaran Musik Jakarta 2026, we hope to present an inclusive and proud experience for the entire community at Cibis Park,” said Achmad Umar.

In agreement, Agus Takari, Chairman of the Cinere Jazz Society Community and the event’s initiator, emphasised the importance of this collaboration. “Jazz is a universal language. We blend it with Betawi nuances as a form of love for Jakarta, so that local culture remains relevant amidst the times,” he expressed.

Cibis Park is a mixed-use business park in South Jakarta that integrates office spaces, commercial facilities, and green open spaces. The area is designed to create a modern, sustainable working environment and support the growth of the creative ecosystem in Jakarta. Through this initiative, Cibis Park affirms its role as an epicentre of artistic collaboration that encourages the birth of new icons in the city’s music ecosystem, while strengthening Jakarta’s vision as a global city that remains rooted in its local identity.
