Jakartans crowd recreation sites

JAKARTA (JP): People took advantage of the long weekend to
make their way to recreation sites in and around the city
starting on Friday.

Roads from the city towards Puncak were packed with cars
crawling for up to two hours between Jl. Raya Tajur in Bogor to
Cibulan.

The Ragunan Zoo in South Jakarta saw at least 13,000 visitors
on Friday and another 6,690 as of late Saturday, compared to the
average of 3,000 per day, Marzuki, a ticketing officer, said.

Taman Safari Park in Cisarua reported twice its usual number
of visitors. (yns/anr)
