The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is restricting freight transport on Jakarta’s toll road network during the Lebaran exodus and return migration period from 13-29 March 2026. “Freight transport restrictions will commence on Friday, 13 March 2026, from 12:00 noon until Sunday, 29 March 2026, at midnight,” said Yayat Sudrajat, Head of Traffic and Road Transport Control at the Jakarta Transportation Office.

Four million Jakarta residents expected not to travel for Lebaran 2026

PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) Jakarta Branch has prepared nine passenger ships for the 2026 Lebaran exodus services departing from Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta to various ports across Indonesia. “We have one ship with a capacity of 3,000 passengers, six ships with capacity for 2,000 passengers each, and two ships accommodating 1,000 passengers, all ready to serve passengers during this year’s mudik period,” said Antonius Lumban Gaol, Head of PT Pelni Jakarta Branch, on Thursday.
