Jakarta (ANTARA) - An officer of the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-department (Gulkarmat) died whilst extinguishing a fire on vacant land filled with rubbish on Jalan Penggilingan Baru 1, Dukuh Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta.
Irman Riyadi, head of Neighbourhood Unit 03 of Dukuh Village, confirmed that the officer who died in the line of duty was named Andriyono. He said the victim suddenly experienced breathing difficulties and fainted at the scene after inhaling thick smoke that had gathered in the firefighting area.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Andriyono, the firefighter who died whilst handling a rubbish fire on land on Jalan Penggilingan Baru 1, RT 13/03, Dukuh Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, on Saturday (1/8) afternoon, was known to have a history of heart disease.
“The deceased was known to have a history of heart disease,” said Bayu Megantara, Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has expressed its deep condolences over the death of Andriyono, Head of the Cepu Rapid Response Team for the Cipayung Sector, who died whilst handling a rubbish pile fire on Jalan Penggilingan Baru, Dukuh Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and will ensure that his entitlements are fulfilled in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Bayu Megantara, Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), in Jakarta on Sunday.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Basarnas will continue the search for a young man believed to have drowned in the Banjir Kanal Barat (BKB) canal in West Jakarta, after the first day of the search operation yielded no results.
Desiana Kartika Bahari, Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office, said in Jakarta on Sunday that the victim was named M. Tomul Adi Kurniawan (19), a resident of Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta.
