Jakarta – Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo and Vice-Governor Rano Karno launched the departure of 744 free exodus buses at the Monas roundabout in Central Jakarta on Tuesday. “This year, the Jakarta Provincial Government’s theme is ‘Free exodus from Jakarta for families’. This theme reminds us all that homebound travel is not merely a journey home, but an opportunity to maintain family bonds,” Pramono said whilst at Monas.
Provincial government follows Prabowo’s directive on fuel conservation and work-from-home
Jakarta – The Jakarta Provincial Government has committed to implementing President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to conserve fuel consumption and consider implementing work-from-home policies as a precautionary measure against the impacts of global economic crisis. “Whatever directive comes from the central government will be implemented in Jakarta as well,” said Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo when met in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.
Andrie Yunus’s condition according to RSCM
Jakarta – National Hospital Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) is providing intensive medical care to a male patient with initials AY (27) who has suffered chemical burns to the face and several parts of the body. According to RSCM’s Legal and Communications Manager Yoga Nara, the patient arrived at RSCM’s Emergency Department on Friday, 13 March in the early morning at approximately 12:00 midnight.
Budget accommodation at Pulo Gebang terminal popular during exodus period
Jakarta – As the Lebaran 2026 exodus begins, affordable lodging facilities at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta are proving popular with bus passengers preparing for homebound travel. “Alhamdulillah, many are staying at the lodging facilities at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal ahead of this Lebaran season,” said Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Head Christianto in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Transjakarta reactivates route 10C with round-the-clock services until 29 March
Jakarta – PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has reactivated the route 10C service (Tanjung Priok Port – Tanjung Priok) as a shuttle service for exodus travellers using maritime transport. The route will operate from 13 to 29 March 2026 to support passenger activities, particularly those heading to Tanjung Priok port.
