Jakarta Weather Forecast for Tuesday: Light Rain from Midday to Afternoon

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast light rain across the entire DKI Jakarta region on Tuesday (17/2), from midday through to the afternoon.

During the morning, all areas of Jakarta are expected to experience heavy cloud cover, with the exception of the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu), where light rain is anticipated.

Air temperatures are forecast to range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, with relatively high humidity levels.

From midday to afternoon, light rain is expected across all areas of Jakarta without exception. Air temperatures are predicted to peak at between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius.

In the evening, light rain is forecast to persist over the Thousand Islands, whilst other parts of Jakarta will see heavy cloud cover. Temperatures are expected to drop to between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius.

Although no early warnings for extreme weather have been issued, residents are urged to remain vigilant against slippery roads and potential waterlogging at several flood-prone spots.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe following distance, whilst those undertaking outdoor activities should prepare umbrellas or raincoats.
