The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has released the weather forecast for most areas of Jakarta on Thursday, 28 May 2026. Most of the capital city is expected to be sunny throughout the day, providing residents with optimal opportunities for outdoor activities.

According to validated data, Thursday morning will see clear skies across Jakarta, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 31 degrees Celsius and humidity levels between 59% and 77%. Wind speeds are calm at 0.2 to 9.1 km/h.

By midday, clear skies will persist across most of Jakarta’s mainland, though the Thousand Islands area is forecast to have partly cloudy conditions. Temperatures there will average 29 to 32 degrees Celsius with higher humidity of 72% to 80%.

In the afternoon and evening, sunny conditions will remain stable across all Jakarta regions. Temperatures will drop slightly to 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity remaining stable at 60% to 80%.

During Friday (29 May) early morning, BMKG predicts continued clear skies. Temperatures will feel cooler at 25 to 28 degrees Celsius, but humidity will rise to 80-89%. Wind speeds are expected to range from 0.6 to 12 km/h.
