Ahmad Zaki Ali (41) died while distributing aid to earthquake victims in Dampek, North Lamba Leda District, East Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Zaki Ali was a volunteer from Jakarta who also founded the Gerak Bareng Foundation.

Edy noted that East Manggarai Regency was the area with the highest number of casualties. A total of 670 people were affected in that district, with 70 of them losing their lives.
