The Jakarta Provincial Transport Department is preparing 1m9 parking sites for the 2026 National Dhikr and Prayer event held at the National Monument (Monas) area, scheduled from 17:00 to 21:30 WIB.

“To accommodate participants’ vehicles, 19 parking areas are available with a total capacity of 3,755 parking units for four-wheeled vehicles and 5,105 units for two-wheeled vehicles,” stated the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Transport Department, Budi Awaluddin, in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.

The parking locations include the Old Pertamina Building, National Gallery, PLN Central Building, the Ministry of Trade, the IRTI Monas parking area, and Gambir Station. Additionally, sites such as the southern side of Lapangan Banteng, the Sapta Pesona Building, and JIEXPO Kemayoran have been designated.

Budi urged the public to utilise the provided parking areas and avoid parking on the roadside to ensure smooth traffic flow. The Monas area remains accessible via various Transjakarta services, including Corridor 1 (Blok M–Kota), Corridor 2 (Pulo Gadung–Monas), Corridor 2A (Pulo Gadung–Rawa Buaya), Corridor 3 (Kalideres–Monas via Veteran), Route 1A (Pantai Maju–Balai Kota), Route 1P (Senen–Blok M), Route 5C (Cililitan–Juanda), Route 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), and Route 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semeggi).

Transjakarta operational services will continue to run normally; however, in the event of traffic diversions during the event, services will be adjusted according to on-site traffic management.
