Jakarta Traffic Management Plan in Place for Morning Run Event: Alternative Routes Provided

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) is implementing a traffic management plan on several roads this morning, Sunday (17/5/2026).

The traffic management plan is being implemented in connection with the Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 event, which will take place from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

The Acting Head of the Jakarta Transportation Department, Ujang Hermawan, said that the event will be attended by participants from various categories, ranging from 5-kilometer runs to 10-kilometer runs and a 21-kilometer half marathon.

“In connection with the Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 event, which will take place from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM, traffic diversions will be implemented on roads that intersect with the event route,” said Ujang in a written statement quoted on Sunday (17/5/2026).

The Jakarta Transportation Department has also prepared several alternative routes to reduce vehicle congestion during the event.

Via Jalan Terusan HR Rasuna Said–Jalan Kapten Tendean–Jalan Wolter Monginsidi–Jalan Trunojoyo–Jalan Panglima Polim.

Via Jalan Rasuna Said–Jalan Dr Satrio–Jalan Mas Mansyur–Jalan Penjernihan–Jalan Pejompongan Raya–Jalan Gatot Subroto–Jalan S Parman.

Via Jalan S Parman–Jalan Gatot Subroto Transjakarta lane–Jalan MT Haryono.

Via Jalan Tentara Pelajar–Jalan Teuku Nyak Arief–Jalan Simprug Golf 2–Jalan Asia Afrika–Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan.

Via Jalan Sisingamangaraja–Jalan Panglima Polim.

Via Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan–Jalan Asia Afrika–Jalan Hang Lekir I–Jalan Hang Tuah Raya–Jalan Kyai Maja–Jalan Panglima Polim.

The Jakarta Transportation Department advises the public to avoid affected roads and follow the directions of officers during the event.
