Jakarta Toll Road Congestion Spreads on Tuesday Afternoon, from Senayan to Cawang

JAKARTA - Traffic congestion spread across several sections of Jakarta’s Inner City Toll Road on Tuesday (12/5/2026) afternoon. Congestion was observed from the Senayan area towards Cawang due to high vehicle volumes during rush hour. Based on information from the official X account @PTJasaMarga at 17.33 WIB, density occurred on the Inner City Toll Road sections towards Kebon Jeruk and Cawang. Additionally, density was reported on the Semanggi section towards Cawang. “#Tol_DalamKota Semanggi KM 08 - Cawang KM 02 PADAT, kepadatan volume lalin,” the statement continued. Jasa Marga also reminded road users to be careful when passing through the Senayan area towards Tomang. This is because there is an additional toll gate entry lane at GT Senayan on lane 1 or the left outer shoulder. On the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, rigid reconstruction work is being carried out at the Cikarang Utara exit from the Jakarta direction on 8-13 May 2026 on lane 1 or left. Then, road repair work is ongoing at Cikarang Barat KM 28+100 to KM 28+200 towards Cikampek on 6-13 May 2026 on lane 3 or centre. Meanwhile, on the Jagorawi Toll Road, rigid reconstruction work is being carried out at Gunung Putri KM 24+000 to KM 24+100 towards Bogor on 11-16 May 2026 on lane 1 or left. Jasa Marga urged drivers to remain careful and orderly in queues when passing through road work points or dense vehicle areas.
