Jakarta to Be Partly Cloudy Throughout Sunday

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts partly cloudy conditions across all areas of Jakarta throughout Sunday.

In an official post on its Instagram account, @infobmkg, BMKG said West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands would be partly cloudy from morning until night.

Temperatures in the capital are expected to range from 29 to 31 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday (17 October), BMKG said smoke from forest and land fires had begun moving away from western Java, including Greater Jakarta.

The smoke briefly reached western Java on Friday (16 October), but did not remain for long and had no impact on air quality at ground level.
