JAKARTA: The Polish Embassy's counselor, Slawek Strazewski, left Indonesia on Friday after completion of his tenure in Jakarta, a source at the embassy said.

During his almost three-year stay in Jakarta, the popular and active Polish counselor worked under two Indonesian Presidents: Megawati Soekarnoputri and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Slawek is to stay some time in Warsaw but is expected to return soon to Asia. -- JP
