Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road Under Repair, Plan Your Travel Time
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is carrying out repairs on the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road to improve infrastructure quality and driving comfort. The works include Scrapping, Filling and Overlay (SFO) as well as pavement reconstruction at several points. “The Scrapping, Filling and Overlay (SFO) works and Pavement Reconstruction on the Jakarta-Tangerang (Janger) Toll Road section are being carried out again to enhance road infrastructure quality and driving comfort, as well as to support the fulfilment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for toll roads,” said Senior Manager of Representative Office 2 of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, Ginanjar Bekti R, quoted from an official statement on Tuesday (7 April 2026). The SFO and pavement reconstruction works will take place from Tuesday, 7 April 2026, to Thursday, 23 April 2026, at various points in both the Jakarta-bound and Tangerang-bound directions. For SFO works towards Jakarta, repairs will be conducted on lanes 1, 3, and 4 from KM 24+930 to KM 17+700 at 13 work points, running from 7 April 2026 at 22:00 WIB until 21 April 2026 at 05:00 WIB. The pavement reconstruction works cover several points, including the Off Ramp Karang Tengah from KM 24 to KM 23 towards Jakarta, as well as On Ramp Karawaci 2 from KM 21+600 to KM 18+430, up to the exit at Tangerang Toll Gate towards Tangerang, with a phased schedule until 26 April 2026. During the works, the lanes under repair will be temporarily closed, but other lanes will remain usable. Jasa Marga has expressed apologies for any potential inconvenience caused by the works. “Jasa Marga apologises for the inconvenience arising from these works,” said Ginanjar. Road users are also urged to monitor the latest traffic information through official services such as the 24-hour call centre at 133, the official Jasa Marga website, social media @official.jmmetropolitan, and the Travoy application.
