JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has suspended the odd-even (gage) traffic rule due to the national holiday, Pancasila Day. This is in line with the official Instagram post from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), stating that the vehicle restriction system will not be enforced on 1 June 2026. ‘The implementation of the Odd-Even system on various Jakarta roads is suspended due to Pancasila Day holiday,’ the post said. This means all vehicles with four or more wheels can pass through roads normally subject to the odd-even rule without licence plate restrictions. The temporary suspension also refers to DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88 of 2019. Article 3 paragraph (3) states that the odd-even traffic restriction is not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays as determined by Presidential Decree. However, the odd-even rule will resume from Tuesday (2 June 2026) to Friday (5 June 2026), operating in two sessions: 06:00-10:00 WIB in the morning and 16:00-21:00 WIB in the afternoon and evening. For reference, the following 25 roads will be subject to the odd-even rule over the next four days:
