Jakarta – Indonesia’s Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) continued its positive momentum through the morning trading session. The IHSG strengthened 0.53 percent or 39.37 points to reach 7,428.77.

The index traded within a range of 7,323 to 7,434, which marked the intraday high. Transaction value reached Rp 6.33 trillion, with trading volume of 12.94 million shares and relatively light total trading of 875,100 transactions.

The IHSG’s gains were supported by strength across multiple stock sectors, led by the energy sector’s 0.99 percent increase. The non-cyclical consumer sector followed with a 0.84 percent gain, whilst the technology sector surged 0.73 percent.

In contrast, the raw materials sector recorded the sharpest decline at 0.90 percent, with the property sector falling 0.75 percent and the cyclical consumer sector losing 0.19 percent.

From a technical perspective, analysts at Phintraco Securities noted that the index is currently testing dynamic resistance around the 5-day moving average (MA5) at approximately 7,500. Momentum indicators showed a narrowing negative MACD histogram with validation from the Stochastic RSI indicator positioned in oversold territory.

“This suggests limited potential for selling pressure in the short term. We estimate the IHSG could trade within a range of 7,400–7,500 in the afternoon trading session,” Phintraco Securities analysts stated in their daily research on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

Among the 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45), three companies reported the largest price gains in line with the positive market trend:

PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT): The share price surged 6.90 percent or 10 points to 2,170.

PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI): The share strengthened 6.23 percent or 600 points to breach the 10,225 level.

PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO): The oil and gas company controlled by Garibaldi Thohir also posted gains, with shares jumping 5.96 percent or 140 points to 2,490.
