KCIC has also ensured that services for all passengers remain optimal, including for those requiring special assistance such as people with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, passengers with infants, unaccompanied children, and ill passengers. During the long weekend period, KCIC has deployed 197 service staff across all Whoosh stations to provide assistance from station access, wheelchair support, boarding, to pick-up at the destination station. In addition, KCIC provides various supporting facilities at the stations and trains, such as 24 wheelchairs, 15 accessible toilets, breastfeeding rooms, and disability-friendly access routes. Each Whoosh train set also features 32 priority seats and an accessible toilet in carriage number 4. Eva urged passengers needing special assistance not to hesitate in contacting staff to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
