Jakarta Regional House of Representatives Approves 2027 Work Plan
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) has approved the 2027 Work Plan for the Jakarta Provincial DPRD, which will subsequently be formalised as a decision of the Jakarta DPRD.
“With this approval, the 2027 Work Plan Draft for the Jakarta Provincial DPRD becomes the 2027 Work Plan for the Jakarta Provincial DPRD and will further be established as a decision of the DPRD,” stated the Deputy Chairman of the Jakarta DPRD, Basri Baco, during a Plenary Session in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Baco noted that the 2027 Work Plan is structured as a series of programmes and activity lists intended to be implemented throughout the 2027 fiscal year by the Jakarta Provincial DPRD.
“This work plan serves as a guideline for the DPRD in conducting its activities and functions for the year 2027,” he added.
Regarding the 2027 Work Plan, the Head of the Legal Products and Session Division of the Jakarta DPRD, Nur Achmad, stated that the plan includes the discussion of regional regulation drafts, the enhancement of oversight functions regarding regional legal products, the implementation of recess activities, and technical guidance for the leadership and members of the Jakarta DPRD.
Furthermore, the plan encompasses working meetings of DPRD committees, domestic working visits, overseas working visits by DPRD committees, the discussion of the 2026 Regional Head’s Accountability Report (LKPJ), the submission of the Audit Result Report (LHP) from the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK RI) regarding the 2026 Jakarta Provincial Financial Report (LKPD), and the commemoration of Jakarta’s 500th anniversary in 2027.
Additionally, the plan involves the discussion of the pre-RKPD for 2028, the 2028 RKPD, amendments to the 2027 RKPD, the discussion of the 2028 Budget General Policy and Provisional Budget Ceiling (KUA-PPAS), and the discussion of the 2027 Budget Amendments.
The 2027 Jakarta DPRD Work Plan also covers the discussion of programmes for the formation of Regional Regulations for 2028, the 2028 DPRD work plan, audiences with community delegations, coffee morning sessions, the 2027 BKOW Award activities, press gatherings, and year-end press statements.
