Jakarta Records Highest Investment Realisation Nationwide at Rp 69.8 Trillion in Q1 2025
Investment realisation in Jakarta Province has recorded positive results. The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming / Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) recorded that investment realisation in DKI Jakarta Province in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp 69.8 trillion, the highest in Indonesia.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) Benni Aguscandra said the positive performance was in line with the regional government's efforts to continuously provide ease of doing business for investors.
"The investment performance of DKI Jakarta continues to record positive results. This is inseparable from the direction of the Governor of DKI Jakarta for all his staff to consistently provide ease for investors, from simplifying permits to providing adequate infrastructure," he said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday (1 May).
Investment realisation throughout January to March 2025 was spread across 114,451 investment projects, contributing 15 per cent of total national investment realisation. The figure rose sharply compared to the same period in 2024, which reached Rp 58.4 trillion.
In detail, DKI Jakarta's Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) realisation reached Rp 42.2 trillion, or 18 per cent of total national PMDN realisation. This achievement also remained the highest compared to other regions in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, DKI Jakarta's Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) realisation was recorded at USD 1.7 billion, contributing 11.9 per cent of total national PMA realisation.
