Jakarta Railway Engineering Centre Head Summoned by KPK in Rail Project Corruption Case
The Head of the Class I Railway Engineering Centre (BTP) Jakarta, Ferdian Suryo Adhi Pramono (FSA), has been summoned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He was called as a witness in connection with a corruption case involving a railway track construction project. “A witness in the alleged criminal act of corruption related to railway procurement within the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Wednesday (24/6/2026). The examination is scheduled to take place today at the KPK’s Merah Putih building in Kuningan, South Jakarta. However, Budi has not yet detailed the subject matter of the examination for Ferdian. For context, the KPK has been investigating this case since 2023. The case came to light following a sting operation (OTT) targeting 10 individuals. The investigation has continued to progress. As of 2026, 21 people have been named as suspects. They are: 1. DIN (Dion Renato Sugiarto), Director of PT IPA (Istana Putra Agung); 2. MUH (Muchamad Hikmat), Director of PT DF (Dwifarita Fajarkharisma); 3. YOS (Yoseph Ibrahim), Director of PT KA Manajemen Properti until February 2023; 4. PAR (Parjono), VP of PT KA Manajemen Properti; 5. Asta Danika (AD), Director of PT Bhakti Karya Utama (BKU); 6. Zulfikar Fahmi (ZF), Director of PT Putra Kharisma Sejahtera (PKS); 7. HNO (Harno Trimadi), Director of Railway Infrastructure; 8. BEN (Bernard Hasibuan), PPK at BTP Central Java; 9. PTU (Putu Sumarjaya), Head of BTP Central Java; 10. AFF (Achmad Affandi), PPK at BPKA South Sulawesi; 11. FAD (Fadliansyah), PPK for Infrastructure Maintenance; 12. SYN (Syntho Pirjani Hutabarat), PPK at BTP West Java; 13. Budi Prasetyo (BP), Chair of the Procurement Working Group; 14. Hardho (H), Secretary of the Procurement Working Group; 15. Edi Purnomo (EP), member of the Procurement Working Group; 16. Risna Sutriyanto (RS), Chair of the Working Group for the Solo Balapan-Kadipiro Double Track project; 17. Eddy Kurniawan Winarto (EKW), entrepreneur; 18. Muhlis Hanggani Capah (MHC), civil servant within the Directorate; 19. Muhammad Chusnul, Junior Expert Railway Infrastructure Inspector; 20. Dheky Martin, PPK at the Central Java Railway Engineering Centre for 2020-2022; and 21. Sudewo, former member of House of Representatives Commission V. The majority of these individuals have been convicted and sentenced to prison. Most recently, the KPK received a restitution payment in the case of alleged corruption in the railway project. The money was reportedly returned by Robby Kurniawan, a former expert staff member to the Minister of Transportation under Budi Karya Sumadi. The amount returned was hundreds of millions of rupiah, though there is no detailed information yet on the money’s connection to the corruption case being handled.
