Jakarta Provincial Secretary Uus Kuswanto Appointed as MRT Commissioner

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) has announced changes to its board of commissioners. This is a decision by the shareholders outside the General Meeting of Shareholders of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) regarding Changes to the Board of Commissioners on 10 March 2026.

First, Dodik Wijanarno was honourably dismissed from his position as independent commissioner.

“PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) expresses its gratitude and highest appreciation for the dedication and contributions during his tenure and execution of duties as a director of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda),” said Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Rendy Primartantyo, as quoted in a press release on Thursday (2/4/2026).

“He has extensive experience in government and public administration, as well as competence in formulating regional strategic policies,” Rendy added.

With this appointment, the composition of the Board of Commissioners of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is as follows:

President Commissioner: Mr. Heru Budi Hartono;

Independent Commissioner: Mr. Sudarmanto;

Commissioner: Mr. Deni Surjantoro;

Commissioner: Mr. Uus Kuswanto; and

Commissioner: Mr. Ahmad Yani.

“This change in the Board of Commissioners is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen good corporate governance and improve company performance in providing safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation services to the community,” Rendy stated.
