Jakarta Provincial Government Prioritises Eid Allowance Payments for Non-Civil Servants, ASN to Follow

JAKARTA — The Jakarta Provincial Government is prioritising the disbursement of Eid holiday allowances (THR) for non-civil service personnel, particularly contract workers classified as Individual Service Providers (PJLP), whilst the disbursement of THR for civil servants (ASN) remains in administrative processing.

“We are indeed prioritising our non-ASN colleagues, including our PJLP friends,” said Suharini Eliawati, Assistant for Economy and Finance to the Jakarta Regional Secretary, during a statement at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Suharini explained that THR disbursement for civil servants will be carried out in accordance with central government regulations. The administrative process for THR disbursement is currently being handled by the Jakarta Regional Personnel Board (BKD).

“At present, the Government Regulation for ASN THR already exists,” Suharini said.

However, Suharini could not confirm the specific timing for THR disbursement to civil servants, as administrative processes were still ongoing at the Personnel Board. Only after all procedural stages are completed will THR be distributed to employees.

According to her, from a budgetary readiness perspective, the Jakarta Provincial Government has already prepared the necessary funds for THR payments. “Actually, if it depends on us, we are ready. For example, once the list is finalised, we already have the Funds Availability Letter with the budget allocated,” Suharini stated.
