Jakarta Provincial Government Distributes Basic Needs Assistance for February 2026

Jakarta — The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI) distributed basic needs assistance (bansos) funds under the Basic Needs Fulfilment (PKD) programme for February 2026 to 205,170 beneficiaries on Wednesday (25 February).

The Head of the Jakarta Social Services Agency, Iqbal Akbarudin, detailed that of this total, 23,115 persons were recipients of the Jakarta Children’s Card (KAJ), 162,056 recipients of the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), and 19,999 recipients of the Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ).

“The existing beneficiaries total 205,170 persons, based on data matching from the distribution period in January 2026,” said Iqbal in Jakarta on Friday.

In addition to existing beneficiaries, there are also 4,643 new beneficiaries, consisting of 1,110 KAJ recipients, 3,190 KLJ recipients, and 343 KPDJ recipients.

“For new beneficiaries, bank accounts will be opened and ATM cards distributed,” said Iqbal.

He stated that based on the Governor’s Decree Number 160 of 2026, the total number of PKD assistance beneficiaries for 2026 was initially set at 215,524 beneficiaries.

This number comprised 210,881 existing beneficiaries and 4,643 new beneficiaries.

However, following data matching with various sources in February 2026, the number deemed eligible and qualifying was 214,572 persons, consisting of 205,170 existing beneficiaries and 4,623 new beneficiaries.

KAJ recipients are aged 0–6 years, KLJ recipients are aged 60 years and above, whilst KPDJ recipients are those registered in the Social Services Agency’s disability data collection.

Meanwhile, KLJ and KPDJ recipients are not civil service pensioners, military personnel, or police officers.

The Jakarta Provincial Government updated data on PKD assistance beneficiaries to ascertain their whereabouts and circumstances, whether they have passed away or relocated outside Jakarta.
