Jakarta packed with hoodlums

Several train stations in the Jabotabek area have become
meeting places of the unemployed. These people are known in local
jargon as preman. They not only sit around at train stations, bus
terminals have also become their favorite hangouts. Drunkards
have been frequently sighted among these groups.

Their presence is quite offensive to ticket buyers at train
stations. I will not mention the names of the stations, since I
believe the respective authorities must be aware of the meeting
places.

Not intending to sound self-righteous, perhaps the authorities
could prevent crime by observing their behavior and habits. I am
doing this in the name of public security.
