Jakarta Officially Launches '5 Centuries' Logo Ahead of City's Anniversary

The Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung and Rano Karno, officially launched the logo for Jakarta’s 500th anniversary. The ceremony took place during the peak celebration night at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout (Bundaran HI) in Central Jakarta on Saturday.

The launch was carried out symbolically by planting a coconut flower. The coconut flower was handed over to Pramono and Rano by local residents before they planted it together on stage, marking the official unveiling.

‘We are launching the logo for Jakarta’s 5th century,’ announced Rano Karno during the event.

The logo for ‘5 Abad Jakarta’ carries the theme of a ‘Global & Cultured City’. It features a design of five fingers in red, yellow, blue, purple, green, and white. The number 5 is attached to the five-finger image in white, with the text ‘Abad Jakarta’ written in black.
