Jakarta MRT Promotion: Rp 243 Fare Effective Today

JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is implementing a special fare of Rp 243 for customers using the MRT Jakarta service today, Tuesday (24/3/2026).

Corporate Secretary Division Head of MRT Jakarta, Rendy Primartantyo, stated that the application of this fare is a form of appreciation to the community as well as an effort to encourage increased use of safe, comfortable, and integrated public transport in Jakarta.

“To commemorate MRT Day 2026, MRT Jakarta is applying a special fare of Rp 243,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday (24/3/2026).

The special fare applies to customers using the MRT Jakarta service with certain payment methods through the MyMRTJ app.

Customers can obtain the Rp 243 fare by making payments via Kredivo, blu by BCA Digital, and GoPay on the MyMRTJ app.

“We urge all customers to continue following the rules and procedures while using the service, and to maintain order and collective comfort in public transport,” said Rendy.

He added that MRT Day is commemorated every 24 March as a milestone for the operation of MRT Jakarta services since 2019. This commemoration serves as a reflection on MRT Jakarta’s role in supporting safe, comfortable, and sustainable urban mobility.

This year, MRT Jakarta is also presenting a series of programmes running from 24 March to 24 April 2026. Several activities are prepared to bring the MRT service closer to the public.

As the highlight of the series, MRT Jakarta will hold the MRT Day 2026 Festival, open to the public, on 24-25 April 2026.
