Jakarta MRT Also Implements Rp1 Fare During Eid

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is implementing a Rp1 fare on the first day of Eid and the day after. This policy is in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency No. e-0056 of 2026. This pricing policy is also applied to the LRT Jabodebek service.

The Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), Rendy Primartantyo, stated that all stations will open with normal services, and there will be additional staff at stations and on trains.

“Passengers are urged to remain orderly, maintain cleanliness in station areas and on trains, and always follow the instructions of the staff,” said Rendy in a written statement on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

MRT management will serve passengers until 01:00 WIB on the night of Takbiran. All 13 stations will operate according to the provisions with a total of 219 train trips using seven train sets. Then, from 18-24 March 2026, operations will run from 05:00 to 24:00 WIB with a 10-minute interval between trains.

During Eid, Rendy said, MRT is presenting various programmes for the community during the holiday period, including edutourism in collaboration with the Jakarta Experience Board, point-of-interest promotions via the MyMRTJ app, and various activities around station areas. “Further information can be obtained through MRT Jakarta’s official social media.”
