Jakarta Mobile SIM Service Today: Check 5 Locations, Requirements, and Fees

The Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police is once again providing mobile driving licence (SIM) services in five areas of DKI Jakarta today. This facility is available to make it easier for the public to extend the validity of their legal driving documents. According to information uploaded to the official X account @TMCPoldaMetro, the mobile service counters are operating from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Western Indonesian Time. Applicants are urged to prepare the required documents from home. These mobile counters specifically process extensions for active SIM A and SIM C licences. If a licence has already expired, the holder must apply for a new SIM at the nearest SIM administration office (Satpas) in accordance with the applicable mechanism. The extension fee refers to Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 on Non-Tax State Revenue, which applies to the Indonesian National Police, specifically Rp80,000 for a SIM A and Rp75,000 for a SIM C. Meanwhile, for SIM B holders, the extension process can only be served directly at the SIM Administration Unit (Satpas) office, as it requires special document verification related to the use of vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes.
