Jakarta LRT Velodrome-Manggarai Route Targeted for August 2026 Operation

Workers are completing construction of the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B project in the Manggarai area of Jakarta. The 6.4-kilometre Jakarta LRT Phase 1B project, connecting the Velodrome, Rawamangun, and Manggarai route, is targeted to officially begin operations in August 2026. Additionally, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has decided to extend the Jakarta LRT route from Manggarai through to Dukuh Atas, bringing the total route length to 14.2 kilometres with 12 stations. The new route is expected to improve public transport connectivity in Jakarta and support more efficient public mobility.
