Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading-Manggarai Ready for Inauguration

The Jakarta LRT train set for the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai route at Manggarai LRT Station, Jakarta, Monday (24/8/2026). The 12.2-kilometre LRT line with 11 stations has been 100 percent completed and is scheduled to be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on 26 August 2026.

The Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading-Manggarai service is planned to operate daily from 05.00 to 24.00 WIB, with a capacity of 275 passengers per train set. In the initial phase, the number of users is projected at around 60,000 passengers per day, increasing to 80,000 passengers per day under normal conditions.

For the transition period until October 2026, the Jakarta Provincial Government has set a temporary fare of Rp5,000 per journey. After the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai line becomes operational, the government also plans to continue LRT construction to Dukuh Atas to strengthen mass transport integration and expand mobility options for Jakarta residents.
