Jakarta Light Festival Set for 21-22 June 2026, Mark Your Calendars!
Ahead of Jakarta’s anniversary celebrations, a host of exciting events are planned, including the Jakarta Light Festival. The event will be held over two days, on 21 and 22 June 2026. According to official information from the Kota Tua management, the schedule for the Jakarta Light Festival this week is: Sunday, 21 June 2026 and Monday, 22 June 2026, from 16.00 to 21.00 WIB, at Taman Fatahillah.
In order to enliven Jakarta’s 49th anniversary, Ancol and Ragunan are offering free admission for three days. This promotion applies on 22, 27, and 28 June 2026. The terms and conditions are as follows:

The free ticket period applies specifically on 22, 27, and 28 June 2026.
Access to the Ancol area is granted all day from 05.00 to 23.00 WIB.
Reservation Terms and Conditions
This programme is specifically intended for people holding a Jakarta KTP (Identity Card) or KIA (Child Identity Card).
Prospective visitors must reserve tickets through the ancol.com website no later than H-1 before the visit date.
The online registration or reservation process has been open since 16 June 2026.
Visitors must enter their KTP or KIA number when making a reservation, where one identity can only be used to claim one free ticket.
The free admission ticket does not include private vehicle entry fees or ride tickets at recreational units.
- Conditions for Free Ragunan Entry for 3 Days
Ragunan Zoo is offering free admission for three days. This promotion is specifically for holders of a DKI Jakarta ID card. According to Ragunan’s official Instagram account (@ragunanzoo), the free entry period applies on: Monday, 22 June 2026, Saturday, 27 June 2026, and Sunday, 28 June 2026. The conditions are: free visitor admission, not including vehicle parking fees and rides.
