voyage to the center of the earth on the Jakarta Stock Exchange
(JSX).
The broad-based Composite Index closed lower at 454.32 from
454.40 on Monday.
The narrower-based GTDBS-50 Index fell to 105.98 from 107.97.
A broker said the Composite Index was revised with the listing
of 28.82 million shares of Bunas Finance and 27 million shares of
Dharmala Sakti Sejahtera.
Yesterday's top gainers included Tjiwi Kimia (up Rp 325),
Petrosea and Mulia Industrindo (up Rp 300 each).
Top losers included Sekar Bumi (down Rp 3,250), Gudang Garam
(down Rp 2,300), Bunas Finance (down Rp 1,500), Good Year (down
Rp 550), Sari Husada (down Rp 500), Semen Cibinong (down Rp 400),
Indocement and Indosepamas (down Rp 300) and Indospring (down Rp
250).
Trading volume increased to 19.7 million shares valued at Rp
84.32 billion (US$39.4 million) yesterday from 12.27 million
shares worth Rp 60.4 billion ($28.76 million) on Monday.
Of the total trading volume, 10.68 million shares changed
hands at Rp 42.87 billion on regular market, 6.73 million shares
at Rp 29.73 billion on the crossing board and 2.28 million shares
at Rp 11.71 billion on the foreign board.
No shares were traded on the odd lot, bloc sale and cash
trading boards yesterday.(icn)
