Jakarta Job Fair to be Held on 19-20 May, 42 Companies Offering Thousands of Job Opportunities

The Jakarta Provincial Government will hold a Jakarta Job Fair on 19-20 May, 2026, with 42 companies and thousands of job opportunities. The job fair will take place at the Gelora Sunter Multipurpose Building, North Jakarta, from 10:00 to 16:00. According to information from the official Instagram account of the Jakarta Provincial Government, the event is held to expand public access to job opportunities in various industrial sectors. The Jakarta Job Fair 2026 can be attended free of charge by the public. The event is also open to people with disabilities as part of an effort to expand more inclusive job opportunities. A total of 42 companies from various industrial sectors will participate in the job fair. In addition to attending in person, job seekers can also access information and vacancies online through the official career website of the Jakarta Provincial Government, Karir Jakarta. The Jakarta Job Fair is one of the Jakarta Provincial Government’s efforts to reduce unemployment. Since mid-2025, the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, has inaugurated various Jakarta Jobfests 2025 in Jakarta, one of which was held at the Jakarta International Velodrome, East Jakarta. On that occasion, Pramono stated that the job fair provides an opportunity for job seekers to find good jobs in an open system. The job fair at that time featured 37 companies with a total of 2,000 job vacancies that job seekers could apply for over two days, namely 19-20 August.
